I am Judine, founder of Just Judine. I am a classically trained chef, breast cancer survivor, and health and fitness enthusiast. I was born in Jamaica and raised with a farm-to-table approach; I learned the value of healthy and good-tasting sustainable foods early on. After graduating from college with a BS in Business Administration, I decided to pursue my passion for food at the International Culinary Center in New York City. I worked as a private chef for over ten years, curating delicious and healthy meals. In 2013, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and the nutritional value of food became even more paramount in my everyday life.
As someone with a sensitive digestive system, I believe that caring for our digestive system is integral to our overall health. My diet is a key feature in maintaining my health, and it was a problem with the lack of clean and great-tasting snacks on the market. Drawing on my experience as a trained chef and my love for whole foods, I was inspired to create nutritious, easy-to-digest snacks that could help keep me feeling healthy and energetic throughout the day. After creating a variety of wholesome, delicious, plant-based snacks, Just Judine was founded.
I am married. I enjoy exercising, spending time at home, cooking, and hosting dinner parties for our family and friends.
